A studio for synthetic cinema that doesn't exist yet.

Section I. What we do

An index of capabilities,
set in motion.

CAP.01Commercial filmsBrand films, commercials, and short-form work produced with generative AI. Concept to cut, directed and delivered — finished pieces you can put on air, not tech demos.
CAP.02Character developmentDesigning characters for brands, agencies, and studios — visual DNA, expression sheets, and the foundational prompt systems that keep a character recognisable across every render.
CAP.03AI animationAnimated sequences and moving-image content built with generative AI — directed performance, controlled motion, and the editorial finish to make it land like animation, not output.
CAP.04Creative directionTaste applied at scale. Every project starts with a defined aesthetic and ends with something the algorithm wouldn't have chosen on its own.

University of Greenwich · Panel

AI, Ethics and Animation.

A panel discussion at the University of Greenwich on a hot topic with no easy answers — the ethics, craft, and future of AI in animation. A great line-up of artists and academics and a lot of sharp questions from the room.

Royal Holloway · University of London

A guest lecture, then a workshop.

A hands-on workshop with final-year students — less theory, more experimenting. Live collaboration, brand-DNA building, and first AI images and videos made on the day. The moment when things click never gets old.

Empowering women with AI.

A room full of women in Budapest, learning AI together — an unforgettable day of energy, encouragement, and new tools in new hands. A reminder of who this technology should be for.

Section VI. The studio

One director,
a small studio.

Petra Molnar
Petra Molnar
AI Animation Director

Petra Molnar is an AI Animation Director based in London. She founded AI Cinelab to direct generative AI as a medium for visual storytelling — commercial work, character development, and original studio projects.

Her route into AI animation runs through UX/UI design, dentistry, and a background in science — precision and patience that now show up in how she designs characters, builds prompt systems, and directs the machine toward something that feels intentional rather than accidental.

Briefs & letters
welcome.

Let's make the thing nobody else can.

If you're carrying a character, a world, a brief that needs a new kind of studio — we'd like to hear about it. Honestly. No template responses.
